Notify WorkSafe about forestry work

By law, WorkSafe must be notified of all commercial tree felling operations at least 24 hours before work starts.  You can do this via the ‘Notify WorkSafe’ button in the top right hand corner of WorkSafe's website.  If you have any problems contact WorkSafe on 0800 030 040 or email forestry@worksafe.govt.nz.  Failing to notify WorkSafe could put you at risk a fine of up to $50,000.
