A new guide to monitoring health and safety performance, that FISC helped to create, has been launched. The guide includes questions and indicators that will help business managers and owners understand and track health and safety performance in their businesses.

Monitoring health and safety can be tricky. Backward-looking measures like injury rates can be useful but only tell you so much. But how do you choose the right forward-looking indicators for your business? That’s what this guide aims to help with. It also includes example health and safety dashboards to help get you thinking about ways to improve your own health and safety reporting.

The guide is a joint initiative of the Business Leaders’ Health and Safety Forum and WorkSafe NZ and is available on the Forum’s website.
